  Strength training is an effective method for developing musculoskeletal strength. It is often recommended for fitness, health, and the prevention and rehabilitation of orthopedic injuries. This is because strength training is an important component in the comprehensive health program.

There are endless strength training programs and theories out there but the question is "Do they suit you?" Most of the strength training programs and theories are much geared towards bodybuilders and advance exercisers. If you are a just getting started, it is all to easy to get confuse by the different terms and jargon that a gym junkie or a professional athlete would use. So to help you to achieve your goal you should find a program that give you a good foundation which in anyway is safe and effective.
